TCHomecare, founded in 1993, specialises in providing high quality domiciliary care services for the Turkish, Greek and English speaking community in their own home. Our aim is to provide culturally sensitive, high quality care services to the elderly and disabled within these communities and work towards strategic goals to ensure a better quality of life for those receiving our services. Please read our most recent inspection report from national regulators, the Care Quality Commission (CQC)
TCHomecare currently works with 7 London Boroughs and 3 Primary Care Trusts as well as several private clients who fund there care privately or receive funding to purchase their own care in the form of Direct Payment or Individual Budgets.
TCHomecare is part of the wider Turkish Cypriot Community Association (TCCA) and our client’s have access to some of the benefits that brings, including:
- Advice Surgery every Thursday, 9am-12pm.
- Free Legal Advice (Pre booked appointments only, sessions run once per month).
- Free Signposting
- Support / advice if in need of aids and equipment.
TCHomecare work’s hard to not only maintain but to develop and improve upon our services, that is why we are proud members of the United Kingdom Homecare Association and work closely with Skills for Care. Furthermore we are now Cache accredited and our care workers have access to all our training opportunities thanks to a dedicated training division set up within the organisation. The majority of care workers (over 80%) currently employed by TCHomecare have a QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), the remaining care workers are working towards their diploma.
All of our carers complete initial induction training before starting work and are placed on the newly formed Care Certificate scheme (as determined by the CQC) followed by mandatory trainings such as First Aid, Food Hygiene, Manual Handling, Health and Safety, Safeguarding Of Vulnerable Adults (SOVA) and Medication Training.
