Addition
In 2020 TCCA developed a partnership with Medi Foundation, with a vision that under the guidance of Medi Foundation that TCCA can extend its arms to those who are suffering some form of addition, from alcohol to gambling.
There are plans underway to launch awareness of addition based illness through an international arts exhibition that will simultaneously he held in Cyprus, Turkey and UK (TCCA)
An Outline of the Medi Foundation is seeking to bring Eastern and western based therapies to our beneficiaries. These philosophies are as diverse as our beneficiaries.
Each person who is in recovery is treated as an individual. This is very important to us. It is our vision to open a purpose built treatment centre in northern Cyprus that will benefit our local and overseas beneficiaries. Our treatment centre will be available to all, both wealthy and those not so wealthy. This will be achieved by operating our scholarship programme for beneficiaries who may not normally be able to afford the fees.
We will open education and training programmes to a wide variety of government and private sector personnel who will benefit from learning more about the recovery and wellbeing and assist those people in need of help.
It is also our intention to host an annual three day Recovery & Wellbeing conference in northern Cyprus in September, starting in 2021. We will be partnered in the endeavour by a leading conference organiser in this sector. We are confident that the event will attract speakers and delegates from all over the world and help to establish Northern Cyprus as the hub of the recovery industry in Europe.
